Caxeta 500mg tablet is an anti-cancer medication used for the treatment of colorectal and breast cancer. The drug is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals. It has a composition of Capecitabine 500mg used in it. The drug helps to prevent the growth of cancer cells in the body. The use of the tablet is done to prevent new occurrence of colon cancer after complete removal of the tumour by surgery. The use of drug is done alone or in other cases, it is used in combination with other drugs as it helps to prevent abnormal cell tissues in the body.

The anti-metabolite tablet is used to treat various types of cancer. The composition in drug helps to kill the cancerous cells in the body. The dose of the drug inhibits thymidylate synthetase, an enzyme to be found in higher concentration compared to traditional tissue or plasma. It is also used in a combination for the treatment of breast cancer whose tumour overexpresses human epidermal receptor type -2.

Dosage

Caxeta 500mg tablet is to be taken orally by mouth and as recommended by the doctor. The use of drug should not be done in an inadequate amount. Do not overdose the drug as it may result in severe health conditions. The dose of the drug depends on the severity of the disease.
