Norflox Eye Drops is an anti-bacterial eye drops useful in treating bacterial eye and ear infection. It comprises of Norfloxacin ophthalmic 0.30%. Cipla is the manufacturer of the eye drops. It is a sterile preparation of a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibacterial. The eye drops inhibit DNA synthesis in bacterial organisms by preventing the growth of bacterial infection. It works by killing sensitive bacteria.It has a vitro activity against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and negative aerobic bacteria.

Norflox Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of conjunctivitis, corneal ulcer, otitis externa, acute otitis media, and chronic suppurative otitis media and prophylaxis during otic surgeries. Avoid contamination of eye drop bottle as it can cause an infection in your eyes. Prolonged use of eye drops can cause growth of non-susceptible organisms such as fungi.

Dosage

Shake the bottle well before using Norflox eye drops.
Keep at-least 5 minutes gap if you are taking other eye drops in the same eye.
Try not to miss or skip the dosage.
Do not take an inadequate amount of eye-drops, if done wash your eyes with plenty of water and consult your doctor.
Avoid instilling double dosage at the same time as it can cause adverse health effects.
