Temonat 20mg medicine is a formulation of Natco. Pharma Ltd. It has a key component of Temozolomide 20mg in it. It comes in a tablet form and is an anticancer agent that comes under cytotoxic chemotherapy medicinal class. The medicine has a specialization to treat different types of a brain tumour or brain cancer i.e. anaplastic astrocytoma and glioblastoma multiforme. The medicine is also useful to treat melanoma. It is useful in slowing or stopping of the cancer cells in the body and might lead to the death of the cell.
The anti-cancer medicine works by entering the brain tissues and helps in damaging the DNA and RNA of the cancer cells. It is also effective to stop the growth and multiplication of cells in the body. The medicine is an inactive pro-drug, chemically hydrolyzed to 3-methyl-triazine-imidazole-carboxamide, an active metabolite of dacarbazine. Dosage
